We attended the International conference organised by Dept. of Tourism and Hospitality Management. We all reached well before time and the delegates of the conference exclaimed to see that students in uniform attend the conference. PRof. SP Bansal, Prof. Manjula Chowdhary, PRof. Sandeep Kulshreshta etc. acknowledged the good behaviour of our students and spend some time in appreciating them. The team of research scholars were already reached and the echo of BHU tourism was resounding in the hall. 

The Hon'ble Governor, Meghalaya, inaugurated the programme in presence of other distinguished guests present on the occasion. Students of Tourism of NEHU, received the guests on Khasi outfits and every ones attention was focused at the ceremonious tradition. The sessions went on till evening as some of our students went to explore the east Khasi Hills whereas others made friendship with the local students. 

In the evening, the dinner was arranged at the guest house and all our students were highly motivated to have some socialisation in the evening, but they have to adjust with the food only.
