A dreamful stay at Kovalam ----Lot of intersting happenings......

Image
The day went peaceful as there is nothing much to do than visiting the local temples and museums. By evening moved to Kovalam. Kovalam is really a dream place where our stay was arranged at a hotel near lighthouse. The location was quite fascinating as there was a very picturesque view of the beach. That day evening was meant for the seafood adventures. Crabs, Shells, Muscles, Lobsters, Prawns and variety of sea fishes attracted attention of the students. Many of them are seeing this variety of seafood items first time They found themselves interested in moving around different restaurants, check the menu and last ordering some of the mouth watering dishes. Unfortunately, many of them placed order, but waited for hours to get their orders on the table. After hours of wait, many of them returned to hotel with a dull face as they didn’t get the food ever after a long wait. In the evening, our friend in Trivandrum had arranged a bonfire programme and every one was highly excited to move

tough time ever had in life ..

In the morning Amit told that he is having some problems with stomach and needs immediate medical attention. I advised Depak, Amit’s friend and the driver of the bus to go the hospital immediately and get the medicine. We all got ready for the friendly session with the students of Tourism in MG University. The interaction session planned at M.G. University was really an eye opening. The Vice Chancellor of the university addressed the joint session for an hour. Faculty member from Tailors University, Kuala Lumpur and students of MG University. Another coincidence was Mr. Tony, the key speaker for the day was my close friend and class mate for 5 years of my higher education whom I was meeting after a gap of almost 8 years. The tea session went further, by taking down the emails and notes of the students. By the time Amit came back to our place, after taking medicine from Carithas Hospital. Moved to Kumarakom, where we had to catch a boat to Allappuzha. Every one was really excited to

tour....memories contd.

Slipping in to the bed by 9.30 pm, outside town was really cold. Every one seems to be tired. Afraid of getting late for the next morning everyone went in deep sleep, except someone who had a habit of whispering adventures of their life all through the night. Woken up next day morning, we moved to Rajamala, National Park under Eravikulam division. The trip to Rajamala was exciting, but after reaching the spot, we found a long que waiting for their turn. After a bit of confusion, every one moved in to the que. after getting ticket, we found that the bus which can accommodate only 20 people and now the team have to be divided in to two. Slowly we moved upside to see the much awaited animals....... 20 minutes drive to the top offered lot of dreams to our students as they felt that there would tigers roaring around, lions gives them blessings and langoors offer them bananas . Nothing happened other than the surprise that is it a national Park or some isolated place that fools the visitors
