The children of the tracks

Look at the picture at the right

three small kids trying to do something....

these are the children of the tracks,

rather the children of India,

living their childhood at the mercy of Indian railway

and kind passengers.....

the scene is from Mughal Sarai station,

I was at platform no. 2, on 17th Sep, 2017

The time was around 9.30 pm.

my train was delayed by 4 hours 30 mns.,

This picture of Janasadaran Express...

which serve in between Danapur and Anand Vihar (Delhi)

The kids were collecting water from the refilling pipes (yellow)

and serving to the needy passengers who were giving empty bottles....

All these kids are of 8-12 years, who have a broom as their asset

and railway station as their home...

they clean the aisles and beg for coins when the train halts at the station,

or do these kind of minor helps to the passengers...

some might give and some scold them away....

The long hairs and torn clothes...

empty stomachs and weak bodies

really wake us up to think of the real India.....

Do these children deserve a better life?

Like other children who get the same from their parents...

though these kids may not know their own parents......

These kids live their life as same as of  rats.....

living in the railway stations and tracks....

Both of them live with the mercy of passengers and trains

and survive with the odd life......
