when miracles happens through strangers..............

When i started from Ooty to home town , the weather was already changed to cloudy and misty. cold wind with rain water sprayed in the air appears like a reality show of nature. (as this is the world of reality shows....). getting a bus to Gudallur was not easy and if i miss the bus from here i wont be able to reach home that night and would be trapped. the bus was fully crowded but  in its slow speed, with the high voices of co passengers, created an exhaustive conditions. around 3.15 p.m we have reached Naduvattom, the mid station, and a tea stop for passengers, conductor and driver. Taking a cup of tea, i moved to the road side to view the scenic view. a convoy of military vehicles passed. They are on their way to Wellington (Down hill Ooty) were army command is located there.
after a break of 10 mns we started again. this time I was prepared to take some snaps, but the rain and clouds forced me to keep camera eyes closed. a line of vehicles spotted in the road and our vehicle is also slowed. came to know with a real shock that there was an accident. jumped out of bus and moved to the scene. A military pickup van (heavy vehicle) crashed the side wall of the ghat road and hit a tree, waiting to fall 90 degree sharp. fortunately the jawans escaped without any injuries. from the single view we can understand that it was a sheer careless drive. otheriwise it never happens like this.
The single lane road is now ques with vehicles from both ends. There is no chance that the vehicle may be lifted with human effort, and will take minimum three-four hours. small vehicles can go, but my worries added as the time reached 4 30 pm. its raining , at the same time another 10 KM is there to Gudallur. No way to reach Gudallur to catch next bus...
Requested every private vehicles came, but none helped. found a local person fro Gudallur, who was travelling with me in the bus. requested him if he can speak to some one in the town and get a taxi, and I will pay whatever required. Hell of affairs...... Mobile connectivity is also lost. Rains one side. crazy passengers waitig for a vehicle or help....utter chaos
The stranger person promised that he called someone from down hill and waiting for him. but there is no confirmity. waited anxiously and decided to walk . after a wait of some time, the stranger friend of us located the auto rickshaw. A long breathe came from me as I found a miracle as it was quite incidental to meet that stranger and requested for help. Thanking him all the way, we introduced each other in the auto.
the auto driver was telling us recently elephants block the road in the night and its dangerous to stay in that area after dark falls. by 5.30 pm i reached Gudallur and now my half of the problems were solved. but catching another bus and reaching my home is still an issue. Next bus to my home town is 7.15 p.m. and once i reach Bathery at 9 p.m, the lat bus to my place is at 9.10 p.m. it was raining all the way , and cold winds, pressured minds to get the last bus......
end of the story:  reached home at 1030 p.m where mom was eagerly waiting for me.
Thanks to God  to bring that stranger to me at a time of crisis
